Finally!
Greetings Readers
I finally got my website and an introductory podcast posted to the internet.
MAN!! That was really time consuming and literally painful -- my wrists are sore!!
It has taken me all freakin' weekend.
I won't get into too much detail about why I had so many problems -- let's just say that "GD" strongly encourages even current subscribers to buy additional services, and it's a lot easier to buy-buy-buy than it is to find the option or function that you have already paid for (eyes rolling upward).
In anycase, it's all out there now. I only have one podcast posted. Now that I think about it, I guess that this blog ought to have a link to the podcast page. (sigh). I hope that this works I got nothin' left! >>>>> JustLindaOnline.com
On the upside, since I'm still on dial-up -- yes, I know, I'm the only one left in the nation who is still on dial-up,
... since I am still on dial-up, it took a good bit of time to upload things and to save changes to the website.
So, while I was waiting, I knitted more rows than I feel like counting onto my latest project.
I'm knitting the Twin Set on pages 28-29 in Knit'N Style, April 2006 in white cotton. I substituted a different cotton for the recommended yarn. Before I give any credit to the yarn I'm using-- (or DIScredit), I'll wait and see how the project turns out.
I expect to be finished with the tank this weekend, and the jacket by the end of the month.
I'll post pics as soon as I'm done. "How 'bout dat?" (That question is for someone special to me)
Well the next step is to get my podcasts and a link to my websites onto Itunes -- Hopefully those efforts aren't quite as painful.
Have a happy Sunday.

I can't seem to email you so I have added this comment about your podcast to this blog. I loved your episode 2 podcast. I am also a multi-crafter, I cross-stitch, sew (mostly quilts now), knit (including machine, I have a Sweatermaker and a Brother=92s punchcard machine), crochet and = scrapbook, so I know what you mean about having so much. When my sisters and I scrapbook we have a lot of things to bring together. I have two cases on wheels, three bags, one for books, one for accessories and one for my Sizzlettes. I also have a bag for quilting to take my sewing machine, fabric, cutting tools, etc. to quilt at someone=92s house. As for how I store my materials, I purchased a workbench type cabinet from = Menard=92s, it is great it has one long storage area on the side, three draws in the middle and on the right it has two shelves behind two doors. This is where I keep my cone yarn, my doll supplies, my cross stitch material and threads, my tatting materials, quilting tools, etc. I have a number of tubs where I keep my yarn, and one set of rolling draws where I keep my embroidery machine supplies and disks. I also have a dresser where I keep my quilting fabric. So you can see it amounts to a lot. =20
What my sister has done is great and I would like to utilize her method, but I don=92t have the room. She had her husband build cubbies in which she put appropriate sized tubes in which each has the materials and patterns for one project. She marks each tub with a slide in label with the project name, as she empties it, she adds a new one. =20 She also is doing something like this in her cedar closet in the same room.
I love finding someone who also talks about the other crafts they work on and how we tend to accumulate more as we go along.
I really enjoyed listening to you.
Thank you
Terry Wesley

I really like this show! I use & enjoy a few natural fibers, but I prefer to use yarn that is inexpensive, machine washable, etc. The other knitting podcasts are great too, but I don't feel as much of a connection to them when it comes to yarn. I would love to hear a little about needles, tools and gadgets! Or maybe knitting tips & helpful hints. Learning about different stitch patterns would be neat. But just keep doing whatever you are doing! I am looking forward to many more episodes! ~Carrie

I love your podcast! I just found it today July 5, and I was so happy. I enjoy your soothing voice, and having a podcast that is just... its like a journal or something; very personal... its so nice. Very refreshing...anyway I too am a stasher... I have 5 or 6 30 gallon totes in the basement full of yarn. Its not neat either... just a big mess.... it used to live in my room... but that stopped. I can't wait to get married and move out, so I can have a room devoted to yarn (my fiancee seems ok with that idea...) I am a spinner and scrapbooker too... also mildly interested in weaving, but realized that a full sized room loom would not be welcome in my mothers' house... there is too much yarn and fabric already! Please keep podcasting! I promise to keep listening!
